Media player doesn't support burning the format you're looking for
here (called CD-TEXT). However it does support burning a playlist of
tracks to the CD, if you burn a Data CD. But not for audio CDs.
I'm guessing WMP on your PC recognises the track "fingerprints", the
duration and arrangement, and can identify the disk contents because
they're in your PC's media library.
But there's no info stored on the disk about those tracks, so another
PC which hasn't got a copy of your media library, just sees a CD -
presumably a Mix CD, with unidentifiable tracks.
Commercial CDs are usually entered into an online database run by AMG
which contains fingerprints for the tracks, but obviously not for your
home-burned mix CD
